Wine tour in Georgia

During the wine tour you will be able to participate in wine making, experience the technologies of wine making of specific part of Georgia. “Cart (Uremi) and wine press (Satsnakheli), Godori and clay pitcher (“Qvevri”), this is ancient tradition”.

Tbilisi (20km) Meeting at Tbilisi International Airport, Transfer airport – hotel accommodation. Free time

II day
Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Tbilisi (60 km)

Breakfast – comprehensive excursion to Tbilisi, departure for Mtskheta, Historical monuments of Mtskheta: Svetitskhoveli cathedral temple, tasting wine at Mtskheta “Khareba” shop. Dinner in Mtskheta, Jvari Monastery – significant view is opened from the Monastery. Departure back to Tbilisi, sightseeing night Tbilisi. Supper: traditional Georgian Supra. Overnight in Tbilisi

III day
Tbilisi – Signagi – Telavi (170 km)

Breakfast – departure for Signagi – City of Love, Fascinating views of Alazani Valley and huge mountains of Caucasus are opened from the City, Signagi – at 250-year hall will host you the wines of “Peasant’s Tears”, fermented and aged in clay vessels, Qvevris. Dinner in Tibaani. Continuing along; Telavi – capital of Kakheti. Overnight in Telavi.

IV day
Telavi – Gremi – Kvareli – Telavi (60 km) Breakfast – we start from Telavi for center of Kakhety Kingdom Gremi. After this visit to Kvareli. Former Qindzmaraui plant, wine kept in the tunnel of 7.7 km, which is cut in the massive of the rock of Caucasian Range, where winery “Khareba” will host us. Dinner at Ilia Lake. After this we visit Tsinandali – here we will experience Georgian innovations in Georgian winemaking; walking in the gardens of the Estate. Overnight in Telavi.

V day
Telavi – Alaverdi – Shuamta – Tbilisi (150)

Breakfact – Departure to Alaverdi; viewing Cathedral Temple; later visiting Shuamta – Georgian Orthodox Monastery; picnic in the nature, departure through Gombori.
Tbilisi – free time. Farewell party and Supper.

VI day
Tbilisi (20 km)

Breakfast. Free time. Seeing off and departure.

During the Wine Tour you will pass 480 km. Visit Kakheti area, experience pleasure due to Kakhetianspacies of wine, you will be able to participate in wine making process and taste “Mtsvadi” fried on vine, folk songs, dances and Tamada (toast master), who will offer traditional Georgian toast.
